It is hard to stay organized if there is nowhere to put your things. Look into getting cheap shelves from your local department store. You can tuck them into the basement, into closets, into your kitchen cabinets. Get plastic bins to slide under the bed. The more that you have a place to put things, the more open and free your home will seem.
