Why do you hurt me, with the little things you do and say? Then pretend to understand my pain and my feelings, just so that I will stay. I forgive you each time and say that it doesn't matter, but deep inside my heart, I no longer hear the pitter-patter; Of a heart that was once so happy and so filled with glee that no one could say anything that would affect me. But you continue to hurt me, and I don't want to leave, but how do I convey to you that the pain makes my heart grieve? I love you with every fiber of my being; you have my heart and soul. Will you please just stop hurting me so that I may once again feel whole?
