Listen to Her

Guys are often raised to be problem solvers. But girls are often raised to be nurturers - to be there for others. So one of the most valuable things you can do for the girl you love is simply to listen. Don't judge her, and don't necessarily try to 'fix things'. Maybe things can't be fixed. Just listen and sympathize. Tell her you understand, that you are there for her. That you care about her. You can have 3 hour conversations every night where she pours out her heart. The simple fact that you are listening can be the most important thing you can do for her.

It's hard being a girl, with all the pressures parents and teachers put on you. It really helps to know that someone out ther cares how you feel, and understands what you are going through. Be that guy. Be that shoulder.
