The love you have for your partner is tremendous, if it weren't you wouldn't be feeling the guilt. My advice would be to not tell them and try to forget it ever happened. Telling them would be the most selfish thing in the world because not only would you hurt them, but you would be relieving your own pain. If you really love your partner you either won't tell them or you will break up for another reason...not cheating.
