What is the favorite date you've been on, and why did you enjoy it so much?

I had a very nice date recently with someone i met on a dating site - we met in a cool little artsy town and walked around at night, did some wine tasting, and had a great dinner at an excellent Mexican place. He was easy to talk to and we seemed to have a similar sense of humor.

I've been sick since I returned from the holidays and haven't seen him, and funnily enough, he's been sick too. We have been texting and calling this flu the Ash Fork 2012 Zombie Outbreak, and joking this is the first stage of the Zombie Apocalypse.

So it seems promising.

Jilly -

That is great that the date went so well, and that you're staying in touch! How wonderful!

I love Mexican food smile. You probably have some awesome restaurants out by you!

Being close to the border has its perks. ;-)

Whoohoo! I have another fun date planned for next weekend! Drew and I will go to Lowell Observatory. I've been there, but never seen a 'show' there. He has some free tickets.

So how did the trip to the observatory go? Did you observe anything?

I ended up not being able to go to flagstaff - i had to drive to san diego to catch my flight to Florida.

I did see Kennedy Space Center - which was outstanding - but not on a date with that man.

We are keeping in gentle touch via texting, and i look forward to seeing him again. I don't think dating him will be realistic, though, since I don't plan to stay in Camp Verde anymore. But I think I have a new friend.
