It seems he's avoiding me

there is this guy everybody in my grade knows that i like him. when i'm around him we don't talk much but when he's around other people he talks.I try to avoid him and it seeems he's avoiding me. alot of people kid with me and says that he likes me then they quikley say nevermind he dont no more. and when they say that hes all quiet.

Since he knows you like him, either he doesn't like you or he is shy with you.

If he is shy try getting to know him a little better and let him know personally that you like him. You can start by saying hi to him whenever you see him. Look him straight in the eyes, say in a clear voice "Hi" and his name, and give him a big smile.

This will boost his confidence about being around you. And, it can lead to further conversation that will make both of you feel more comfortable together.
