I have had my heart broken a lot this year

Umm hi i really need some advice. i REALLY like this guy and he has told me he likes me back but i dont know if he is trying to make me feel good or if he is being truthful. He is always by my side and is always tickling me, trying to grab my hand playfully or looking at me. Those are the things that shows me he does like me but then there are these 2 girls that i think he might like cause whenever im not around him he is with those girls and it upsets me. i geuss i am really jealous but i wonder that if he does like my why he wont ask me out. i have had my heart broke alot this year and he knows it he has been there for me to cheer me up through all of the heart break. i dont like asking people out and i think that the guy should ask the girl so the girl knows he actually cares for her. Can you help me figure out what to do??? Oh um sorry its so long.

Well, it seems that he really likes you.
Don't worry about his interest in other girls, that's natural.
As far as him asking you out, you'll have to patient. He doesn't seem ready yet. If you want to advance matters, you could say to him "Hey, isn't time you asked me out?" in a joking way.
