what your about hear maybe the dumbest thing to ever fight about. There is this girl in school that i can't get her out of my mind. we have so much in common but there is something we fight about that ruins the friendship little by little. ready for it? I'm a BIG red sox fan and she is a BIG yankee fan and when baseball season starts we are going to go at it and fight. I hate to fight with her, it kills me but she'll come out of nowhere "yankees are better" i don't know what to say to settle this problem.

She is probably teasing you to get your goat. You two are probably from Connecticut where these Sox/Yankees fights are normal.

Why not agree that when the Sox are playing someone that you root for the Sox and when the Yankees are playing against someone you root for the Yankees.

When they play head to head then you can fight :)

How about you two find a team in a different sport that you can both root for... like the Steelers, for example.
