I don't know why she could change this fast

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
My ex and I were getting along so well. She said she loved me and that I was the most amazing guy she had ever met. We were crazy about each other for about 2 months. During christmas went I went up to see my family and she to see hers. When I got back into town after being apart those 5 days she started pulling away. She told me that she didn't feel that I was her soul mate or that we didn't have the same connection that she had with one of her ex's. She had ran into him while she was home for the holidays. She got more and more distant over the next three weeks until she broke up with me. She said that she was not ready for a relationship and needed her freedom becuase she liked to flirt and explore life and also that she might still have feelings for her ex. She said that she wanted to be friends still though. It has only been a week and she seems to be more interested in talking to me than she was during the few weeks leading up to our breakup. I want to get her back becuase the 2 months that we were together and she wasn't pulling away were great. She was so happy to be with me and was talking about a future with me. I don't know why she could change this fast. It suprised everyone I told sinse she had been so into me and seemed to love me so much. For the time being I am just continuing to try and become a really good friend with her and hope she comes around.

RomanceClass.com Advice
You are doing the right thing by being her friend and waiting to see what develops. That is the first step in trying to get an ex back.

Her quick change of mind was probably the result of seeing you for two months in a "honeymoon" type of relationship when everything seemed perfect.

When she went home for Christmas, she ran into her old ex and she realize that she wasn't as firmly attached to you as she thought she was.

I wish you the best of luck! George
