He gets so mad and can't get out of it
Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
What do i do when he has problems nothing can help and he doesnt neccessarily take it out on me, but he feels when i try to make him feel better that im preaching to him. He says that he has to think about things and that is how he has always been, and its how his family has been. I tend to wear my heart on my sleave and even though i want to know he cares, and he will say it, somehow i feel that i care to much. I have never dealt with someone that can get so mad and cant get out of it. What should i do? Should i just not say anything, or should i still try to boost his ego and make him feel better even though it doesnt seem to help and i only feel hurt. Whenever this happens we seem to get into a fight. How can i curb this? Is there anything that can help?

You didn't say how long these periods of anger last.
If they are short term... say an evening then the best thing to do now is to ignore him.
If they last for days then your problem is difficult.
My advice is to wait until he is in a good mood and suggest professional counseling. Tell him his moods are starting to threaten your relationship and you don't want to be with someone like him for the rest of your life.
