She always looks me in the eyes and smiles

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
When I (18 yrs) met 'Sue', she was my girlfriend's best friend, and from the moment i first saw her at my girlfriend's house i was definately attracted to her. She secretly put her number in my phone, and i have called her many times since. Her and her bestfriend are no longer friends, partially due to this. But the girl, Sue, has a boyfriend who we can call Rob. She's only been dating him for a month and says that she loves him but never shows it. We (Sue & I) often hang out together but usually with at least one more person around. She obviously flirts with me and does things that 'friends' don't normally do. For instance when I am with her she will keep my phone in her pocket the whole time, and she will reach her hands into my pockets just to get it or whatever else she wants. I often pick her up from school and take her to get a drink from Sonic. She always looks me in the eyes and smiles. I keep her laughing and cheerful all the time too. Her boyfriend will often ignore her when he is mad and she tells her girlfriend that she wants to break up with him to be with me. Then the next day she will talk about how she is in love with him, but she constantly grabs me and play fights with me and just typical flirting. But it seems like after everytime she does something to me that indicates flirting she will start talking about her boyfriend, Rob. I almost think it's because she is in some sort of denial about liking me. But all of her friends like me, and i'm tired of them hitting on me, because I only want to be with her, but i don't know if it can happen or not. What do you think about the situation her and i are in?

It's time you had a talk with Sue.

Tell her the gist of what you told me and how you are confused.

The best approach in a relationship is through honesty. If she can't handle it, then it is her loss.

Good luck! George
