my problem is tht i got to know a guy 2 years ago in summer and he had just broke up with his girlfriend ,we only met two months in summer and sometimes through the year but we live in the same country,and we were so close at first we got to be bestfriends ,he was so sweet he was always flirting,he always held my hands,i didnt rlly like him but i was impressed by the way he treated me, he sent me msgs and called me everyday tht i thought as well as all of our friends tht he would ask me any day , but once we had a chat so he called me babe and sweety so i told him tht i didnt like him to call me tht and i have no idea why i said tht, i think i wanted to make him confess anything but i know it was dumb because since tht which is last year he stopped calling me tht again, but he kept sending me msgs and calling me but since last summer our relationship became so weak we still liked each other but i think he lost interest in me , and he liked another girl as well but when her friends knew and told her tht he liked her she told him tht she didnt like him back , now he almost stopped texting me, only 2 messages a month ,but he always tells me excuses tht his parents had surgery and tht he's rlly sorry but im not used to tht with him, he always sweeped me off my feet, moreover when we meet he doesnt stop flirting and holding my hands and having eye contact....i think i like him and i like when im with him more thn any other guy, and i rlly want to know if i should like him or i lost the chance of being more thn just friends and if so...wht exactly should i do and tell him to know wht he feels? and wht should i do to get as close as b4 and make him like me again...?
answer me plz as soon as possible putting in mind tht my heart was broken twice thts why im rlly careful now with guys so i rlly do not want to get hurt again....sorry for writing a lot but its rlly important to tell u the whole situation....

call him "Sweetie" and "Babe." He will probably joke back saying he doesn't like to be call that but just laugh with him.
