So now I decided that I should just ignore my ex

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
Hi there. I have written before and now I need more advice! Well I decided to start talking to and being friends with my ex because he did get me that Christmas gift. Well we have been talking on the phone every day for the past month now. He is still living with his girlfriend but he still calls me 2-3 times a day every day. He tells me that he just wants to help me by getting me better since I am suffering from depression. He told me that he is going to get me to a doctor! I hear from his friends that he is confused about the relationship he is in now and also that he still loves me. I am confused myself on all this! So now I decided that I should just ignore my ex. I haven't talked to him in about 5 days. Is that a bad thing to do to him especially since I do love him and wish he would come back??

No, I don't think you should be ignoring you.

At the very least, he wants to be your friend and you should be willing to be his friend... it's good for you and him too.

And maybe he wants to be more than a friend. That would make you happy, so you should leave the door open to that possibility.

It would be a good thing for you to see a doctor and get advice to help you with your depression. It's hard to be rational while depressed.

Good luck!
George
