You are a verbal abuser. You probably learned it from one or both of your parents.

It will be very, very difficult to break a habit that took so long to form.

Can you afford a professional counselor... or do you have access to one through your work or school? If so get there as fast as you can.

One way to stop being a verbal abuser is to stop talking and listen instead. After listening then agree with what the person said. That is all there is to it. Can you do it though? I'll bet you can't do it because it is very hard to do. See if you can give it a try.

Good luck! George
