I want to have fun

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
well my exboyfriend broke up with me because he was going to college and i am still in high school. so the long distance relationship wasnt going to work. but we still like each other very much. he said that when he comes back for vacation he would be with me just for the vacation but we wouldnt be going out because he would have to go back to college anyways. we both trust each other but the problem is that i always feel alone when he is not with me and i feel like finding somebody else. i like my ex a lot but i just feel like that im going to be waiting for him forever and i want to have fun and do my own things too. put like this he broke up with me because he was going to college and he wasnt going to see me as much just for holidays so i cant wait untill he done beacase i want to have also. i know hes at college getting drunk and all that but what about me i always stay home ang go to work. thats it Boring isnt it. my question is whats should i do wait until hes done or just be friends and go on with my life?

RomanceClass.com Advice
My advice is to just be friends and go on with your life.

You can't put everything on hold waiting for him to come home during breaks. You need to lead a full life and enjoy your young years.

Explain this to your ex so there will be no hard feelings and then go out and have fun.

Good luck! George
