It feels like our love is just kind of getting...boring?
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female I have been dating this guy for about 6 months (it will be in a week). We just totally fell for eachother right away, and even admitted to falling in love after just a couple of weeks! We both feed off eachother when it comes to what we need.
Lately though, it feels like our love is just kind of getting...boring? There isn't much new. He buy's me flowers, kisses me, and makes love to me. Yet sometimes I think that he doesn't love me anymore because he isn't the way he used to be back when we first started dating. His text messeges are shorter, he would rather spend time playing his computer games then calling me (yes we are both seniors in highschool)...just little things like that really.
I know I'm insecure, and deep down i know he really cares and loves me. Is it just the fact that it's winter, and there isn't much to do this time of year? How do I get over the insecurity. I've been hurt many times before by other guys, and this guy is unlike any other. I don't want my insecurities to ruin this relationship. When there is a problem, I tell him. He sometimes gets defensive and says things like "Honey...how can you say that when I just did 'this and this and that' for you"
I wouldn't make this e-mail so long if it weren't for the fact that I need an answer. I just need to know that there is a way to make things ok.
RomanceClass.com Advice Relationships have ups and downs.
Perhaps you are in a down cycle. Some people get gloomy and reclusive in the winter time... perhaps that's your b/f's problem.
