Do you think I am the one to blame ?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
Ive been with this girl off and on for the past 6 years. The relationship is pretty serious at times but then we fight about something and dont speak for months at a time. She always breaks up with me and then wants me back and I always fall for her. We got back together again (for the 4th time) and I went through her phone (which i know i shouldnt have) I found out she was talking to someone she had a crush on while we are broken up. So I asked her if she would wrap things up with him and quit talking to him. And she said that I was being too controlling and wanted to break up again. But a couple of weeks before that she found out that I was dating a girl she hated when we were broken up and got mad at me. My question is do you think thats too controlling or unfair? Do you think I am the one to blame or should I just give up on this relationship and move on? I dont know what to do anymore. Thanks alot for your time .

RomanceClass.com Advice
You shouldn't ask her to stop talking to a guy.

That is controlling and will only lead your relationship into trouble. It is ok to tell her how you feel but not to issue an order to her.

Overall, I would recommend that you put an end to this long term relationship that seems to be going nowhere.

Good luck! George
