We decided we wanted to go out with each other

I'm 16 and usually aren't like this but this is what happened. There's this guy that I've been wanting to date for a long time now. we've alwaz been friends and I kept hearing that he liked me but I could never tell. About a week ago, me and him were hangin out and were drinking. I think we drank too much and we did some "things" together. We didn't have sex.. but we did everything else. Then we decided we wanted to go out with each other. So we were a couple.. the next day he called me and told me he really likes me but he doesn't want to be tied down.. and that we weren't together anymore. He didn't use me did he? I mean, we had both been drinking and liked each other... how am I supposed to repsond to this? Do I just act like i'm ok with it?

But, the next day he realized he didn't mean what he said.

Since you took part in it willingly and with no promises, neither of you were used.

My advice is to look for another boyfriend.
