My guy friends will lose a great deal of respect for me

hello, I am posting a follow up question that I posted a couple weeks ago. BUt anyways, girlfriend hurt me really bad, but now wants me back. I still have feelings somehow and asked if I should give a second and last chance, you guys said that she at least deserved a second shot with me. None of my friends know my intentions yet except one of my best and she understands. But I know that all of my guy friends will lose a great deal of respect for me if I suck back into a relationship with her and stuff. What should I do? I dont want to lose my friends respect, but I do want to give her a second chance with me.

This is a tough one.
Maybe you should have a short campaign to convince your guy friends that you really want to give her another chance. Usually people are more willing to accept things if they are told in advance. You will probably get a few of your guy friends who advise you not to give her a second chance. Explain to them that this really means a lot to you.
Then give the girl a second chance and see what happens.
