But I did let him go physically

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I've broken up with my ex for almost 1 month now and I am 15 years old. Yet I relly don't know what to do for some reason I can't let my ex go emotionally. He was very abusive emotionally and physically sometimes. He was off and on he'd hurt me by saying something are doing something then apologize to me. He called me once and said he was going to commit sucide just to hurt me. He broke up with me with even telli ng me. He treated his girls that were his friends better than me. And when I asked why he said he really did'nt know and he was stupid. But I did let him go physically. Beacuse at frist he'd call me and act like nothing was wrong. And then I started yelling at him evertime he called about all the times he had hurt me and he said that so what. But recently i cut my phone off on him not intentionally but I did. Now he dose not look are evn talk are call anymore. And for some reason I'm waiting by the phone hopeing he will. What should I do and what made him stop looking and talking to me?

RomanceClass.com Advice
He stopped talking with you because you cut him off on the telephone and you made it clear to him you would not put up with his abuse anymore. You did the right thing by letting him go.

No reasonable person wants to be with a verbal and physically abusive partner. You should be happy that you are done with him. Don't hang out waiting for the phone to ring. Are you really that desperate that you want more abuse from him? I don't think so.

It's good that you learned this lesson at an early age so you don't have to deal with it when you are older.

Good luck! George
