8th grade ex-g/f and the phone

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Ok, I ran into my ex-g/f from 8th grade, about a month ago, and we have been talking on the phone a little bit. She had a boyfriend for 5 years, and has recently been broken up with him for about 6 months now. I have recently broken up with my g/f and that's been about a month and half ago. Since i've been talking to her again, i let her know that i thought she was still as beautiful as ever, and that i still really cared about her, and i asked her what she thought about me and she said i think your nice. The only thing is when i call her she seems to be short with me, or for better terms she doesn't talk for long. So I feel as though I bug her, but when i don't call for a day or two, she call's me and ask's why haven't i called and everytime we talk she seems to ask me if my ex-g/f calls anymore. My question to you is why does she do that?

RomanceClass.com Advice
She apparently is one of those people who don't like to talk on the phone very much.

But, she is interested enough in you to call you if you don't call her. That is a good sign.

She may be asking about your ex-g/f because she is worried that she will return into the picture. Or, she may be comparing her situation with yours. Ask her if her ex b/f has been calling and you might find a clue to her feelings.

Good luck! George
