Friend, or a little more?

Alright. Last night I went on a casual date with this guy I liked. But I don't know if he likes me. BACKGROUND: I've liked him for about a week now, I flirted with him, he flirted back. Then my friend cassady threw me into this date with him and some other friends. He seems to like me, but I can't decifer friend from wanting to be more.
THE DATE: On the date, he would open the door for me, when we walked back to his car he gave me his coat. During the movie, a character said,"It's so beautiful", I could see him look at me out of the corner of me eye. When he dropped me off at home, he walked me to the porch, said i looked nice tonight. I said he smelled good. We hugged twice, then said goodnight.

Too early to really say what's in his mind, but the signs so far are positive.
