My best friend and my boyfriend

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I have been talking to this 19yr old and I’m 16. We’ve been talking for almost 2 months. I broke up with my ex a few weeks before we starting talking. My ex is completely out of the picture, he isnt the problem. I just don’t know if I want to like a new guy so soon. I still semi think about my ex even though we don’t talk. My problem is now that I’m not trying to get with him. I denied that I liked him even though I know deep inside I do have some feelings but I’m just not ready to get into a relationship. He complimented my best friend that he thinks she is pretty and then he just wants to be friends with her. I didn’t care. He does tend to have a lot of friends that are girls, He is pretty trustful but then he seems like he wants to talk to her. I admit, I did do a few things to kind of push him away but in the end I always told him I liked him, just didn’t tell my friends I like him. Now my best friend asks me is it ok if she talks to him. I’m like yea its fine I don’t like him like that he is just a friend. They are starting to talk and like I am a pretty confusing person. I like him but if my best friend was to like him I rather her go out with him and talk to him because she hasn’t been really happy lately and he is a very nice guy and I think she will like him cuz if I like him she will. I know its like a sacrifice I have to decide if I want to make . He can’t have both so I have to come a to a conclusion I don’t know what to do cuz I don’t want to lose him but I want my best friend to move on with her life and be happy again. What should I do?

RomanceClass.com Advice
You already told your girl friend that she could talk to him.

So, haven't you already made the decision? Or do you want to try to change that decision?

My advice is to let him go. You aren't attached to him very much and there are a ton of other boys wanting to date you.

You are very kind to treat your girl friend so well!

Good luck! George
