I broke up with him thinking that was what he wanted.
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female Okay, last year in ninth grade I met a guy on my bus and in class that I was very interested in. The Febuary of the next year we started to go out and we had been dating for seven and a half months. I started to feel distance between us and things weren't the same, so I broke up with him thinking that was what he wanted. But the thing that makes me confused is, he had asked me to marry him and I am really in love with him, so when I broke up with him he had nothing to say and I was very depressed. We went throught the rough "Im sorry" phone calls and now he knows that I really want to get back with him, problem is he said about 2 weeks ago that he didn't want a g/f. And we are huging at school and talking on the phone just as much as before, this confuses me. I just feel like it hurts too much to be his friend and I feel selfish because I want it all or nothing at all. I need to know what to do.
RomanceClass.com Advice The way to get him back is to be his best friend.
Be a sympathetic ear for him to share his feelings and become closer.
Maybe this will bring him back to being a boyfriend. It's worth a try.
Good luck! George
