She means the world to me and I don't want to lose her as a friend

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I’ve known a girl for about 7 months, we were colleagues in the university, and suddenly i succeeded in taking her out to a place where she can help me in studying.
After we graduated, we kept the relation on phone, once day i called her and asked her weather she can go out with me to have a chit chat, she agreed and we went out that day.
[The girl doesn't have much friends who can go out at night and so]
We kept on going out twice a week, but about one and a half months ago, i volunteered to help her in finding a job, and i started helping her by applying here and their, more and more, we started to go out everyday, sometimes for a lunch, other times for a place where we could have a drink or something. + The daily call at night and many other calls during the day, telling me what is happening with her.
Moreover, we know everything and each single detail about each others, and i started to like her more and more.
But a new thing came up to surface, the girl started mentioning things and ideas about getting married, but not to me (Taken into consideration that i am one of her best friends) .. BUT SHE WANTS THAT TO HAPPEN AFTER Years ..
I dunno .. i started getting more and more liking her.. and i cant sleep unless i called her or i saw her ..
I need her .. She means the world to me and I don't want to lose her as a friend
Please help

RomanceClass.com Advice
If you spend so much time together, she must care very much for you too.

Ask her gently what are her feelings about marriage (including how many years she wants to wait.) Tell her your feelings and how long you want to wait. This sharing of ideas will bring your friendship closer together.

You didn't say that you love her but it sounds like you do. Are you afraid to tell her for fear that it will ruin your friendship? Does she know that you have feelings for her beyond just friendship? Perhaps it is time to let her know that you are developing feelings for her. That should not bother her since it is only natural and she probably has feelings for you too.

Think about it. Good luck! George
