I'm so confused if whether I should carry on with LIKING HIM or I should just give up?

I dont know what to do. I think he likes me, but i'm not sure though. His friend told me that DRAMA guy doesnt fancy anyone...but I think that friend of his likes me and he seems to do lots of stuff for it not to happen.
Tonight, I saw him in town and he actually came up to me and hung around with me for a while..We went to a couple of shops to look for some gadgets etc. He seems to notice me a lot. I just dont know what to do. Should I ask him out?i dont have the guts though.
I really like him..What should I do?I think he likes me, he even asked me for a hug once and we flirted a lot last week and I really dont know what to do...

Why give up now?
If you don't build up your courage now by taking chances, when will you ever learn to have courage? It's not something that magically flows into you one day in your life. Courage is something like a talent that needs use and nurturing for it to grow. Start today.
He obviously likes you and he may be shy himself. So do both of yourselves a favor and ask him out. It can't do any harm.
