Now I cannot trust and I am really jealous

Hello i am a 17 year old male and have been with my girlfriend for 4 months and she is 18. I am sick with jealousy, everytime she gets a text message, when she uses her pc, when she speaks to her Ex's. Last year my mother died and i broke up from a 1 year relationship and went into another relationship that i was cheated on.
now i cannot trust and i am really jealous. I love my girlfriend to pieces and want the rest of my life with her im just living everyday in fear of losing her and im so cut up, HELP!

You described your problem very well and I can tell that you understand some of the reasons why you can't trust right now.

But, you should be extremely grateful that you have a girlfriend and that you care for each other. I receive lots of letters from people who want a girl or boyfriend or who have split up and want to get back together.

Your jealousy really sounds out of control and, if you aren't careful, will eventually break up your relationship. Here is what I suggest for jealousy: treat it like a real enemy (which it is). Everytime you get a jealous feeling, tell the feeling to go away because you know your girl loves you and won't mistreat you. After 100 or so times the jealous feelings will give up trying to bother you and go away.
