Should I tell her how I feel by talking to her face to face?

hi i have a crush on a girl and i don't know what to do i am shy should i tell her how i feel by writing her a note or should i tell her how i feel by talking to her face to face?

But, if you are really shy then it is ok to write a note. Tell her in the note that you would have talked to her but that you are shy.
