I ask him if he likes her, he always says he doesn't, but how do I know that?

Dear Romance Class,

I just started to like this girl in my class who sits next to me in Math class, and I told my friend about it. But the problem is that ever since he knew, he started to flirt with her like crazy! Just about in every one of our classes now, he flirts with her! I don't know if he all of a sudden started to like her too, or their just friends, and it's really making me nervous, 'cause I want to ask this girl out. And whenever I ask him if he likes her, he always says he doesn't, but how do I know that?

I do flirt with this girl quite a bit, but I've seen really intimate looks exchanged between them, and that just makes me feel queezy inside. Please help me!

Your friend is not a very good friend!

Have a talk with him and tell him you had your eye on this girl first and you would appreciate it if he would stop flirting with her. If he is a decent sort of guy he will stop. Just make sure he doesn't tell the girl.

If he won't stop, you'll have to take the bull by the horns and ask her out before he gets to it.
