i have a question about an older girl. she's a few years older than me and has a boyfriend, but also flirts with me at work. she calls me petnames sometimes, but does it in a joking manner. she has hugged me and touched me (personal area, but not THE personal area...), but she did this jokingly too. she tells me things about her relationship w/ her boyfrend also... she's very confusing. could use any help/advice you have...

Sounds like she is just teasing you in a joking and friendly manner.

I wouldn't take it seriously unless she makes verbal statements that suggest that she wants a closer relationship with you.

If there are other women working there too, it may be she is try to establish herself as an "A" woman (dominant) in your workplace. This is not unusual behavior from either women or men.

So, enjoy yourself while it lasts. Don't make advances to her or she will stop being your friend.
