Then he says he is unhappy & want to focus on his studies & broke off with me

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
Hi my ex broke up with me 4 mths ago. i have recognise my mistakes...i have been like a 'leach' not giving him enough space & i had been too dependent on him to help me solve my problems during our 4 years relationship. During the last year due to our univ stresses we end up bickering a lot. Then he says he is unhappy & want to focus on his studies & broke off with me.During the past 4 mths, we maintain contact via msm phone calls. Now he says he enjoy his feedom very much & does not have intention to marry me & even says he will not engage in any relationship during his univ years. When i says i can wait for him until he relented, he ask me not to waste my own time & just find another guy. I am devastated..i realised i love him a lot after i lose him..we are both 22 yrs old..can u help me please cos i have been crying almost everyday for 4 mths now. Please is there a chance? how can i let him fall in love with me again? Please help me cos i really see him as my future husband and he is my 1st boyfriend.Thank u very much

First I'll give you two websites about breakups and getting your ex back:

and
http://romanceclass.com/miscr/LoveCat/9

Now here is some advice on how to proceed and maybe get your ex's interest back again.

Call him once a week to see how he is doing, to let him know you still care about him, and to maintain contact. Do not discuss your relationship. Be cheerful and keep the calls to 15 mins.

This will give him the space he wants, lets him know that you are not needy, and gives you contact with him.

Give it a try! George
