I thought I would be over it after 2 months...but sadly I'm not.
Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female My boyfriend of 4 1/2 years and I broke up almost 2 months ago. Starting a couple of weeks ago, he started calling me, and we would talk for 1-3 hours at a time, or he would just call on his way to work to say hello. He also asked if he could take me to a movie, as friends, as a belated birthday present, and I accepted. I thought having him as a friend, would be good, because I did nothing but think about him when we were not speaking. Now, I want him back. I dont think he is intersted, and I hate that Im pining over someone who's not interested. I thought I would be over it after 2 months...but sadly Im not. Im tired of this. . . I have tried getting involved in other activities to meet people and be "distracted" but it doesnt work.
RomanceClass.com Advice You shouldn't expect to be over it in two months.
Especially since he has made strong overtures to you... going to a movie and being close friends with you.
How do you know he isn't interested. Have you told him you still care for him?
If not then you should. He may be pining for you as you are for him.
Give this relationship a chance! George
