I don't want to lose him over this but I don't know what to do?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
Hello, Well about two weeks ago I promised my boyfriend whom I love so much that I would call him after I got out of the shower. He said he would wait on me to call before he left to go visit his friend in the hospital, his friend was in I.C.U. he had gotten in a car accident. Well I didn't call but only because I was talking to my aunt about my Grandma whom also was in very bad shape in the hospital. So I finally called him 4 hours later, needless to say he was mad. Not because I was talking to my aunt but because it took me 4 hours to call him. I said I figured he would call me. So anyways we moved on and he forgave me. Now just yesterday I was supposed to call him when I got back from the store, but I didn't have enough time to because my friend needed me to take her somewhere. So about 3hours later I call him and tell him where I am, I was at a house with a bunch of people drinking. He got so mad,but he had a right to, I understand that. Now he says next time you see your friend make sure you shake her hand and tell her thank you, because she just messed up everything my man and me had. I don't want to lose him over this but I don't know what to do? How can I make things right again? I have already told him I know it was stupid on my behalf but atleast I did call him. He still didn't care he just said that, he wan't going to get hurt anymore. I promised him I wouldn't hurt him, and he said but you already have. WHAT CAN I DO OR SAY TO MAKE THINGS RIGHT AGAIN? I WILL DO ANYTHING, I DON'T WANT TO LOSE HIM. Please please help me?
THANK YOU,

Patience is the key.

Call him in a week just to check in and see how he is doing. Mention that you still care for him and want him back, but don't dwell on relationships. Keep it to 15 mins. Wait another week and do it again.

Pretty soon he will get over his fit of anger and find his way back to you.

Wishing the best for you! George
