the thing is I told him straight out that I wanted to be friends. And no he hasn't dropped me after. We get along in conversation like all friends do. But, I guess he doesn't think that a man and a woman can only be "just friends."

I did go out with him at first just to "test the waters" but I knew after a while that I didn't want to get into a relationship with him. What should I do?
