my boyfriend of 3 months has proposed to me 4 times: 1st was at dinner on his birthday & he told me how he really felt about me & asked "would you marry me", 2nd time i was sleeping (he didn't know i could hear him), 3rd he asked me when we were watching wheel of fortune (the puzzle answer was something old, something new, something blue) and the 4th he mumbled it in my ear. i have said to him all times if your serious about your question my answer is yes! and he doesn't get angry or scared. now my concern/question is he is 42, never been married & said in the beginning of our relationship he'll never get married but then he asked me 4 times within 3 months-so does that mean he is thinking about and maybe i could be the one for him? what does this mean?

Something is wrong with this picture.
A 42 yr old never-married man is mumbling about getting married and when you say yes there is no follow-thru. In fact he keeps asking you after you said yes.
If you are serious about taking on this man, then you better pin him down on how strongly he feels about you. I don't have a good feeling about what's going on between you two, but you know better than I.
Be sure to give this plenty of time to solidify... in other words my advice is not to marry on the spur of the moment.
