I really like this guy in my class and he MIGHT like me back but I am not sure. However, I know he likes this other girl in class but she is rejecting him. I have talked to him on the phone a couple times (cuz I called him)and I hung out with him for like 30 minutes. But I don't feel a connection for real like i want. He just got out of a 4 or 5 year relationship and is not looking for a girlfriend (he says he is trying to see what is out there)but I think I can change his mind if he gives me a chance. Sometimes he speaks to me and sometimes I think he tries to avoid me. What do I do? Sincerely, Ms Infatuated

Slowly but surely introduce yourself into his consciousness by talking, hanging out, asking him out.

It sounds like a passive approach is not going to do the job, so just go for it and hope for the best.
