She is one of the most beautiful and intelligent girls I've ever met. My intentions are good

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
I have liked this girl for about three years now. She and I are pretty good friends. I saw her just yesterday at a football game where she was with her boyfriend. We hugged and she told me it was good to see me. I heard a rumor from my friend that he cheats on her. We go to movies and hang out from time to time. Whenever we part I don't stop thinking about her. I know this is more than a crush because crushes don't last for three years. She went out with my good friend for about a year and they broke up almost two years ago. I'm pretty sure my friend is over her. I am a freshman in college and she is a senior in high school. I'm supposed to be having fun in college but whenever I see or talk to girls I can't get over her. I really want to experience what I could have with her. She is one of the most beautiful and intelligent girls I've ever met. My intentions are good. I don't know if telling her I really like her would ruin our friendship but I think the risk is worth the reward. Would telling her while she's with her boyfriend be a bad idea. I've never had a relationship but I think she and I could have something really special. Please help. Thank You.

RomanceClass.com Advice
Ideally you would wait until she breaks up with her boyfriend before you tell her.

However, in this case, it seems ok for you to let her know that you care for her.

That way, she knows that if she breaks up, someone will be standing by.

Good luck!
George
