He's with Someone Else

i have a problem. I really like this boy and he really likes me but the problem is that when he wanted to ask me out i was seein someone now that i'm single and i'm ready to be with him he has a girlfriend. he says that he would break up with her for me if i really want to be with him but if i was in the other girls place i would not want him to break up with me for someone else but i dont know what to do. please help me

You're very wise to not want to break them up. If he's willing to ditch one girl because another better one comes along, then that will always be the case. There's always someone prettier or smarter or funnier or *something* out there. The important thing in a relationship is to honor the person you're with and work to be happy with them.

It seems like the timing just isn't working out for you guys. So be patient and be a great friend to him. You guys can still hang out together and have fun. If he is really happy with his girlfriend, be happy for him and find a guy that makes you happy. But if in the end he just isn't happy with her, and you are still free, you two will be close already and can hook up. Don't knock the friendship you have. Lots of times a long term friendship can be far, far better than a short lived romance.
