Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Hi i am 16 years old and i really like this girl that is excatly 2 weeks older than me. I am totaly convinced that i am falling in love with her. Every night i think about her. In school all i think about is her, i cain't concentraite on what the teacher is saying i am falling a class because of this. it started out in the summer when the youth group and i went to mexico. we were all together for 2 weeks. This togetherness is what i think made me fall for her. i think she broke uo with her boyfriend a few weeks agobut i am not sure. I really want to tell her how i feel but she is like my best friend and i don't want to ruin that. I'm real scared that she might not feel the same way that i do and our friendship is ruined. We go to the same church and i see her some days out of a week. I just want to know how to show her or tell her how i feel. Should i ask one of her closest friends? Please herlp me, i cain't stand not having her and i really think that i am in love with her. I dream about her almost every day. I don't know how to tell if she likes me. Please just help me so that we can get closer and i could probaly ask her our. Thanks.

Tell her.
First say that your friendship is very important to you and you wouldn't want to do anything to jeopardize that. The tell her you are "developing feelings" for her. Give her a chance to reply and realize that her first response might not be the way she really feels.
So call her the next day and chit-chat about whatever comes to mind: school, parents, siblings, sports, hobbies, friends... the list is neverending.
