My boyfriend still talks to his ex even though i dont want him to. Its a long story but he knows that he cant talk to her but he still does it behind my back. When i confront him about it he denies it. Minutes later he upfront and tells me he does email her but in a friend way. That he does not want to be with her but yet he lies to me that he talks to her. Eventhough he says that he doesnt want her, his ex does. She wants him back. Do you think he is confused and still want her on the side? Please help

No, I don't think he wants her on the side.

My opinion is that he feels sorry for her and listens to her out of friendship.

But, if you have told him you don't want him talking to her he should respect your feelings unless you are trying to control him. Try to figure out why it bothers you that he talks to her. Explain that to him.
