My boyfriend of many years broke up with me and is now hooking up with girls left and right. I am so hurt. Why is he doing this to me? And why so soon after he ended things with me?

You are reacting one way and he another.

Whether he knows it or not, he is suffering loss from breaking up with you. Perhaps this is his way of dealing with that loss.
