Pregnancy: are you afraid and it's not bad, or is it as bad as everyone says?

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Female
i really don't want to sound stupid asking this question but here goes:

i want to have a baby at some stage in my life but i am terrified.

i used to be afraid of loosing my virginity-until i did (it was fine)
i used to be afraid of needles until i got them (i am fine about them now)
i used to be afraid of hospitals until i stayed in one (also fine)

is pregnancy the same?
are you afraid until it actually happens and it's not as bad, or is it as bad as everyone says?

thanks
annmarie

I've have four children and in no case was there bad suffering.

Remember that if you can't stand the pain they have miracle drugs that make you feel like you are in heaven. Ask your doctor about this.

Good luck!
