I really like someone but my best mate just happens to like the same person. What do I do? I don't want to lose a friend but my mind is crying out to do something about this person that I like... Other friends are telling me to just go ahead and ask her out or something... and apparently, i'm being really obvious infront of her too... theres also the issue that everyone thinks she likes someone else who left to another school at the beginning of last month. We're friends... quite good friends too... I can never tell if she likes me coz she acts almost as friendly and enthusiastic to everyone else she knows... what do I do?

Tell your mate that you are going to ask this girl out and ask his forgiveness. Tell him you are very much attracted to her.

Then ask her for a date. Hopefully she will say yes.
