Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
One day I was over my boyfriends house, he is a shy boy and it takes him awhile to do stuff. We were in his room and then my mom calls and says she is coming to get me in 5 mins. So then finally he just kisses me and it turns into making out. then my mom calls back and tells me she is there. So i just tried to look presentable but i was kind of nervous (cause it was my first time making out) but then when i got in the car my mom was like why are you so red (it was cause i was kind of embrassed) but she thought it was cause i was having sex or something. But i told her i wasnt and told her i was making out with him and that was it. She believes me i guess but she told me I couldnt do that anymore and i cant be with him alone because kissing could lead to other things. Am I in the wrong, is making out at 15 too young? I know my boyfriend respects me and he wouldnt make me do things I wouldnt want to. How do I make my mom see that I'm not planning on having sex for a long time?

Your mother is in charge so 15 is to young to be making out.

I don't happen to agree and since she trusts you she should allow you more freedom. Ask her when she starting kissing and making out and when she believes it will be okay for you to. These are tough questions that will make her think it over and maybe relax her restrictions.

Be sure to ask the questions respectfully and when you are alone.

If she is still determined that 15 is too young then do what millions of other teenagers have done in similar situations and that is to do it behind her back.

But don't get caught because then the boom will be lowered on you.
