i am attracted to another girl and we even kissed.

Visitor's Question from a 21-30 year old Male
I am in a long distance relationship. my girlfriend lives near south america and i live here in the states/..
it has been 2 years since i last saw her. but we have been in touch regularly over phone and email.
my parents never approved of our union. and i still have my exams to complete..
i feel my heart has gotten weaker over the time and parental pressure. I dont want to hurt her at all because i love her to death.. but of late .. i feel i am not in love with her as i was when we were together. i told her this but she does not want to let me go at all. and the reason i feel my heart has gotten weaker is because i find myself attracted to someone else. and even though i know its wrong.. i have not told my long distance girlfriend about my new attraction..
but i have told her that my love has gotten weaker..
i am in confusion as to how i should deal with my feelings and relationships.. i feel unworthy to continue a relationship with my girl because i am attracted to another girl and we even kissed.
please advise.

Two years without seeing someone is a long time.

If nothing can be done to change this situation then it is understandable why you are getting romantic feelings for a different girl.

My advice is to break off the long distance romance. Not only is it not "real" but your parents disapprove too.

Even if this thing with the new girl doesn't work out, there are still a lot of girls who are physically near for you to seek an acquaintance.
