Many people are telling me he is interested in me because he calls me everyday

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Female
I have been out 3 times with a guy i have known my whole life. Our families have been friends since before I was born.He is very shy and it took a lot for him to call and ask me out. However, his last realationship ended about 6 months ago with a girl he had been with for three years. She cheated on him and broke his heart several times so i know it hurt him pretty bad. Many people are telling me he is interested in me because he calls me everyday, and they say this a big deal for him because he is so shy. I also know that some people wanted him to call and ask me out because they think we would be good together. It's a little difficult for me because I have not really talked to him in the past three years. I am starting to see him as more then a friend but i want to be careful.I don't want to be rebound. We have been on three dates and he hasn't kissed me yet. Is he taking it slow because of his heartbreak? I also feel like i need to get to know him better. What is your advice for getting closer to a shy guy who has been hurt in the past without being to pushy but wanting him to know that i am starting to have feelings? Thanks

If you want him to know that you are starting to have feelings for him then just tell him.

If you want to kiss, then kiss him.

Life is a lot simpler if you just do what you want to do (without hurting others). Don't worry so much about what other people will think.

Good luck!
George
