Is she jerking me around or does she really like me?

Hi there,

I've gotten to know this girl pretty well and I noticed she is usually really happy to see me and always makes a point to talk and flirt. I've known her for about 6 months and about a month and a half ago, she broke up with her boyfriend. I took the opportunity and I asked her out. That was 2 weeks ago and she told me then that she was going to be really busy for the next 2 weeks but we'll discuss it then. I then asked how her schedule looked for next week and she said she was going on a short vacation and then is going to be working and going to school. Is she jerking me around or does she really like me? Do you think I may have rushed things? What course of action should I take?

It doesn't sound like she wants to go out with you.

Give it one more time and ask her if she thinks there will be anytime when she wants to go out on a date. Ask when and make a firm date. If she won't do that then drop her.
