I asked this girl who i really liked out to the movies, but she said "maybe another time". I got the impression that she wasn't interested so i confronted her about it and she told me that she wasn't lying and that she really was busy. However, now i'm not sure what to think. What should i do?

Now it's time for you to dig yourself out of a big hole you got yourself into.

It is not wise to "confront" a girl who turned you down for a date. Instead you could have asked "Oh well, when would it be convenient for you?"

Think things through when you deal with people especially on sensitive subjects like first dates. You should have been prepare for the more obvious answer she might give you.

Now the thing to do is to go up to her and apologize for putting her on the spot and say that you really would like to go to the movies if she will give you a second chance. She may be impressed enough by your consideration to say yes.
