Should I Tell Her?

I have recurrng dreams about this girl. She is a junior, i am a freshmen. We used to hold hands evey now and then, and i am totally in love with her. shes not perfect; her nose is crooked, but i think it makes her different. i like it.
weve been good friends for about 6 months, and i really want to tell her how i feel. The catch is that she was going out with (A), but they may have split up, im not sure. she always lights up when she sees me, but she doesn't do that for anybody else. we have a ton of inside jokes, her and I, and we hug a lot. should i tell her my feelings, or should i wait it out until we are farther along? because prom is coming up, and i just want her to be happy. what now?

It's great that you love her for what she is. That's what love is all about - appreciating what makes someone unique. It does sound like you two are happy together and have fun.
If you're friends, I would go out with her as friends to dinner or movies or something. Chat about life in general and you should get a sense of what is going on with this other guy. Hopefully it's just casual and you can suggest you will take her to the dance :)
