She doesn't know that my love for her still exists

Visitor's Question from a 16-20 year old Male
Ok, so here's my problem, about 2 years ago, I met someone through a mutual friend, the moment I saw her, I liked her. However, she fell for a friend of mine and they dated for a year, all of this time, we became really close friends, but for me, the way I felt didn't stop at just friendship, I truely deeply love her more than anyone in my life. She knows that I liked her around the first few months after I met her, I confessed that to her about 6 months ago. She doesn't know that my love for her still exists. She's mentioned a long time back that she loves me just as a friend. She has moved away for college, she's an hour and a half away and I go see her once a month or so. I've never felt like this towards anybody before, she's the last thing i think about before I go to bed at night and she's the first thing on my mind when I wake up in the morning, not to mention how many times I think of her throughout the day. I'm crazy about her and I really don't know what to do. Even if she feels the same towards me, I'm going away in 6 months and I don't know what would happen. I'm really worried about ruining the friendship that we have, I'd much rather have her in my life as a friend than not have her in my life at all. Please, I need some help. Thankx

Your best bet is to be honest with her (again).

Tell her that your friendship is the most important thing to you but you want her to know that your feelings are stronger than friendship.

Given your complicated long-distance relationship (including that you are going away in six months) I wouldn't expect too much from her. But if you don't try you can't succeed!

Good luck.
